Meet & Greet: mgk at Sunrise Records

August 6 2025 • Mississauga Ontario

In support of mgk’s new album Lost Americana, Sunrise Records partnered with Universal Music to host an in-store Meet & Greet experience. I worked with the marketing team at Sunrise Records to bring this project to life — from stakeholder liaison to creative development and event analytics.

    • Development of creative event assets, copywriting and PR in coordination with Universal Music

    • Event and Lost Americana new release promotional material

    • National email marketing

    • Collaborative Instagram posts with Universal Music (combined audience of 137k+ followers) and Square One (combined audience of 60.5k+ followers)

    • Coordination with Universal Music and mgk’s team

    • Liaison with Square One Shopping Centre Marketing and PR teams

    • Additional coverage from broadcasters including CTV and Much Music, plus organic UGC

    • Original event post accrued 48k views and 800 shares, with the event selling out in under 48 hours

    • Growth metrics surged in the days surrounding the event: +271% follows, +124% reach, +173.2% views

    • Leveraged the large influx of UGC across social media platforms through reposts and #FeatureFriday content pillars, including a UGC TikTok that accrued over 440.8k views

Meet & Greet: Josh Ross at Sunrise Records

September 8 2025 • London Ontario

I worked with the Sunrise Records marketing team and Universal Music to create a Meet & Greet experience with Josh Ross as part of his promotional circuit for his first album Later Tonight. The Canadian born and Nashville based artist is a Juno award winner with over 1 billion music streams.

    • Development of creative event assets and in coordination with Universal Music

    • Event and Later Tonight new release promotional material

    • Ontario segment email marketing

    • Coordination with Universal Music and Josh Ross’s team

    • Liaison with White Oaks Mall Marketing and PR teams

    • Original event post accrued 18k views with over 100 event attendees

Brand Activation: T. Kettle Mother’s Day Pop-Up

May 3 & 10 2023 • Toronto Ontario

As part of RBC Royal Bank Plaza’s Summer Series, I worked with the T. Kettle team to develop a Mother’s Day Pop-Up in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District in collaboration with Colliers and Coveted Co.

    • Merchandise display design

    • Development of print collateral and event sampling signage

    • National email marketing

    • Geo-targeted Instagram posts and reels

    • Coordination with Colliers and Coveted Co.

    • Liaison with Royal Bank Plaza marketing and operations teams

    • Each sampling period occured during 7:30-9:30am, leveraging the morning commuter foot traffic in Toronto’s financial district

      • Over 500 cups of tea were handed out to customers, with most individuals opting for the hot tea option

    • RBC Plaza T. Kettle store foot traffic surged in the following weeks, with steady redemption of free beverage coupons handed out at the event
